Welcome to Ray's Way Ski Tuning
YOU CAN !
Want to enjoy your skis/board all season long as much as you did the day after they came back from the shop all tuned up? Yes? Then know that YOU CAN maintain your shop tune all season long with very little effort or skill and no prior experience.
Skis/boards maintained on a daily basis by just side-edge sharpening and base waxing keep your skis/board like new. Just a couple of minutes with our tools and your skis/board will behave like they just had a shop tune. Additionally, your shop tune will last longer and will result in safer skiing.
RAY'S WAY tools are designed to remove a minimum amount of material restoring an optimal tune to maximize the performance and life of your gear because of our Line Contact Technology tool design.
RAY’S WAY tools don’t require vises. The skill is built into the tools so that you can't damage your gear. There is no skill built into files and irons. A file is a poor choice for daily maintenance. File tuning shortens the life of your gear because files always remove more material than is necessary to restore your tune.

Here’s an example of how RAY’S WAY is different; consider our waxWHIZard. This tool not only saves time, it uses so little wax that the tool pays for itself in less than a season from the savings in wax cost. That’s right, no ironing. No risk of sealing the P-Tex pores. No wasted time waiting for the skis/board to cool down for scraping. No more scraping off wax and tossing it in the trash. No more mess to clean up. Basically, hot waxing is a time and money sponge that results in a messy process with no benefit over the waxWHIZard (see my tips article on “The Myth of Hot Waxing” in the support link under the main menu on this page.)
