It was part of a new series of end-of-season events in Ischgl called ‘Spring Blanc’.
“Our new event series ‘Spring Blanc’ has been well received by our guests and shows us that we can impress our guests in spring with very special skiing moments along with a colourful programme full of culinary highlights and music,” said the chairman of the Silvrettaseilbahn AG, Günther Zangerl.

Ischgl shakes things up with spring concerts more
“At the ‘Top of the Mountain Closing Concert’ in Ischgl, Kings of Leon topped off the end of a very challenging but ultimately satisfying winter season for us,” said the chairman of the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association, Alexander von der Thannen.
“After the cancelled 20/21 ski season, we currently recorded a decline of only 25% of visitors over the season, despite a three-week delayed start to the season due to the pandemic.
“Truth be told, at the beginning of the winter season 21/22 we feared a much larger decline compared to the winter 18/19.
“This winter has clearly illustrated that many guests have found their way back to Ischgl and that the pandemic – with all its restrictions – has not diminished the desire for winter holidays in the snow and special experiences on the slopes.”
Ischgl hit the international headlines as Covid-19 spread back in spring 2020 and the resort is now wanting move on.
